The Indigo Plateau belongs to Kanto, though on the boundary with Johto. It is where the leader of Kanto is traditionally crowned, though they often reside elsewhere, closer to the heart of the region.

A territory of the wild within Kanto, many humans are afraid to venture in too deeply. However, the wild Pokémon have agreed to let humans cross, if and only if they stick to a clearly-marked path through the forest. However, some traveling wild Pokémon may not agree to those terms...

A small city in northern Kanto, Pewter is fairly quiet. It is the main center for building and history, and a popular place for scholars.

A tall, imposing mountain between Pewter and Cerulean, it is the quickest way through to each city. However, it isn't necessarily the safest, as it is undisputably the territory of wild Pokémon.

A large cave that links Cerulean to Lavender, it is very rarely ventured into by humans. If they do, there is a clearly marked path that the wild Pokémon will not attack on, but it is not advised.

A sacred city of Kanto, Lavender belongs to the mystical and the spirits. Normal people will come for guidance and to mourn, however.

A series of plains interrupted by rock and water formations north of Fuchsia. The Safari Plains are home to many rare Pokémon. There is also a statue of the legendary Arceus in her human form - Poison.

More of a village than city, Fuchsia is the location of a small, powerfully gifted clan of ninjas.

Seafoam Islands

A series of two islands linked together by a honeycomb of icy tunnels, the Seafoam Islands are said to be sacred to the ice-type legendaries, especially Articuno. Far into the cave, there is a statue of Arceus in her human form - Ice.

Lightning Plains

A flat, broad plain by Rock Tunnel, Lightning Plains were named by their unusual aspect of a seemingly unmoveable thunderstorm. It is said that the plains are sacred to electric-type legendaries, especially Zapdos. There is a shrine nestled against the mountains, a small, wooden, three-sided box that surrounds a statue of Arceus in her human form - Electric.

An uninhabited volcanic island, Cinnabar Island is well known for the many fire-type Pokémon that are said to roam there. It is said that it is sacred to the fire-type legendaries, especially Moltres.

Mt. Silver

Mt. Silver belongs to Johto, though on the boundary with Kanto. It is where the leader of Johto is traditionally chosen, though they will often live elsewhere.

A quiet village in southern Johto, New Bark is basically untouched by any signs of war or unrest. Admittedly, the humans aren't sure they can trust the wild Pokémon.

A quiet village in southern Johto, Cherrygrove is a scenic spot to visit, with views of the sea and an abundance of cherry blossom trees.

Mr. Pokémon's House

An eccentric man isolated from the rest of the world, Mr. Pokémon has rather interesting abilities. He can talk to, and usually keep peace with, Pokémon. He is also good at translating into multiple languages, though how that could come in handy, no one is particularly sure.

Dark Cave

A rather unremarkable cave, Dark Cave is notorious for being dark enough to not be able to see your hand in front of your face. Well, most people. Few humans will ever venture into it, which makes it popular with wild Pokémon.

Violet City

A small town in Johto, Violet is mainly a crossroads between Goldenrod and Azalea without travelling through the Ilex Forest. Beyond that, it's very quiet and fairly unknown.

Union Cave

A wet, drippy cave in Johto that lies between Violet and Azalea. It's not a very popular place for humans, but Pokémon love it. Deep inside the cave is a statue of Arceus in her human form - Rock.

Azalea Town

A quaint, isolated town in southern Johto, Azalea is most famous for the fact that it produces the best Pokéballs to be found. Of course, the Pokémon aren't too happy about that.

Ilex Forest

A large, growing forest, Ilex is a very concentrated spot of nature in Johto. There is a path through it that links Azalea to Goldenrod, and the wild Pokémon will not attack unless a human is harming them or the forest somehow.

A veritable mishmash of all sorts of people (and the occasional Pokémon), Goldenrod is undoubtedly the center of Johto.

Ecruteak City

An old-fashioned, heavily religious city, Ecruteak is most known for the two shrines - Tin and Brass, shrines to Lugia and Ho-oh, respectively.

Olivine City

A seaport in Johto, Olivine is more or less the center of communication with other regions in Johto.

Whirl Islands

A series of four islands located in the middle of the Cianwood-Olivine Sea, the Whirl Islands are well known for rough whirpools that surround them. Sailors stay well away, and most weaker Pokémon do as well. It is said that the legendary Lugia dwells within the islands.

Cianwood City

A small "city", more of a village than anything else, separated from Johto and pretty much anything else of interest by the wide sea. Cianwood is untouched by any wars, and coexists more or less peacefully with the wild Pokémon. Though there is still a city leader charged with protecting the town, the title is more ceremonious than anything.

Mt. Mortar

A mountain, home to a twisting, extremely complicated network of caves inside it, Mt. Mortar is one of the best places for wild Pokémon to gather. Humans will rarely venture inside, as it is not needed to travel between Ecruteak and Mahogany.

Mahogany Town

A cold, remote town in northern Johto, Mahogany is well-known for being Fuchsia of Kanto's counterpart - it houses a clan of ninjas.

Lake of Rage

The Lake of Rage is located to the north of Mahogany, a popular place for many wild Pokémon. Humans, of course, will stay away.

Ice Path

A frozen cave that links Mahogany and Blackthorn, few humans ever enter for fear of the cold. Ice-type Pokémon love it.

Blackthorn City

A city located high in the mountains, Blackthorn is most known for a clan of warriors that can communicate specifically with Dragon-type Pokémon and the Dragon's Den.

Dragon's Den

An underground maze well-known for its link to the dragon masters of Blackthorn and dragon Pokémon in general. Very rarely will humans outside of the Blackthorn dragon masters enter this cave. There is an underground lake, and on the island of the lake is a statue of Arceus in her human form - Dragon.

Evergrande City

A small, self-sufficient city in an island with all access easily controlled, Evergrande is Hoenn's fortress. Its leaders are usually crowned and reside there.

Littleroot Town

A quiet little village in southern Hoenn, Littleroot is mostly untouched by any signs of war or unrest. Admittedly, the humans aren't sure if they can trust the wild Pokémon...

A peaceful town in southern Hoenn. Not much ever bothers with it.

Petalburg City

A small town in Petalburg, it is rarely visited by outsiders.

Petalburg Woods

A rather small, dark forest that connects Petalburg City ot Rustboro.

Rustboro City

A large, slightly more advanced city than others in the Hoenn region. The Devon house has recently been in the spotlight for some improvements to normal Apricorns, but have been unable to sell them.

Island Cave

Though the name "cave" is applied, there is not really a cave on the island, just a large lump of rock that could be a cave if there was an entrance. Who knows what's inside?

Dewford Town

A small island in southern Kanto, very few people ever go there. Gossip and fishing are equally popular.

One of the two seaports of Hoenn, Slateport is well known for its marketplace and its rivalry with the port of Lilycove.

A city located at the almost perfect spot to be the crossroads of Hoenn. Mauville is very active and many people pass through on a regular basis.

Verdanturf Town

A small town located west of Mauville, Verdanturf is a haven for the sickly and frail. The atmosphere extends to relations between humans and Pokémon, which are almost always friendly.

Mt. Chimney

A tall volcano in Hoenn, Mt. Chimney is a favorite residence of the fire types in Hoenn, along with others that can stand the heat. People will usually do their best to skirt around.

Lavaridge Town

A quiet town south of Mt. Chimney, Lavaridge is best known for its hot springs, which are a major tourist attraction.

The Desert

Simply called "the desert" by humans and Pokémon alike, the desert drives out many humans but the most prepared, and wild Pokémon adapted to the desert will often do the rest, assuming they are seen.

An isolated town in northern Hoenn, Fallarbor is mostly known for its abundance of meteor sightings and its glass.

A large cave known for its unearthly gold-brown rocks, Meteor Falls is a major attraction in Hoenn. While Pokémon dominate the falls, humans are allowed some access to the falls, provided they do not disturb the Pokémon.

A town built in the forest north of Hoenn, Fortree is well-known for its treehouses and rainy seasons.

Ancient Tomb

Though the name "tomb" is applied, no one is sure what the tomb is for. Many tend to stay away, partly from the ominous implications, partly because the only thing of interest is a large lump of stone that could be a tomb - or maybe a cave - if there was an entrance. Who knows what's inside?

Mt. Pyre

A heavily spiritual mountain located in Hoenn, Mt. Pyre is where people and Pokémon alike come to mourn their dead. Legend has it that the peak of Mt. Pyre also holds two mythical treasures, but the peak is guarded by human and Pokémon warriors both. Also on the peak is a statue of Arceus in her human skin - Ghost.

A major port city in northern Hoenn, Lilycove is well-known for its marketplace and its rivalry with the city of Slateport.

A cave on an island north of Mossdeep, Shoal Cave is well-known for its changing patterns of tides that alternatively flood or drain the cave. Water and Ice Pokémon love it, and humans do wander in occasionally.

A city built inside what used to be the crater of a volcano, Sootopolis is a curiosity that many are interested in. Sootopolis is also well-known for its tradition of handed-down myths and history. The Cave of Origin is located here. Divers will notice a shrine in the sea under the city, with a statue of Arceus in her human form - Water.

A quiet town in southern Hoenn built upon wooden rafts and logs and a Corsola colony. It is one of the places in Hoenn where there is always harmony between humans and Pokémon.

Sky Pillar

A tower built on a southern island, it is said to be home to the sky dragon Rayquaza. However, no one has ever made it to the top to confirm if the dragon does sleep there.

Sinnoh

Snowpoint City

A city far to the north in Sinnoh, Snowpoint is not a place that people take lightly. Only the strongest can survive in such harsh conditions, or those blessed by the gods. The Sinnoh priest or priestess leader is chosen and resides here.

A long mountain range that divides Sinnoh in half. It is riddled with caves. Some routes will allow humans to pass through, but the deeper areas are claimed by the Pokémon.

A quiet little village in southern Sinnoh, Twinleaf is mostly untouched by any signs of war or unrest. Admittedly, the humans aren't sure if they can trust the local Pokémon...

A large city in western Sinnoh, Jubilife is where many people have gathered over time. Pokémon wander freely through, usually in packs for protection.

A mining town in southern Sinnoh, Oreburgh has a rather indifferent attitude towards outsiders, human and Pokémon alike.

Ravaged Path

A small cave leading north of Jubilife. Its name was given for three deep gouge marks in the earth before the Jubilife entrance that resemble claw marks. No one can remember how long they have been there.

Floaroma Town

One of the most beautiful cities in Sinnoh, Floaroma is known for its honey and vivid flowers. The inhabitants of Floaroma take care of the flowers and regularly give thanks for them. Floaroma is said to be sacred to the legendary Shaymin.

A valley east of Floaroma Town, the Wind Valley is home to quite a few wild Pokémon (some hostile, some not). It is also well known for the regular winds that continuously blow through the valley.

[ ]Eterna Forest (1 sub-board)
A thickly populated, dense forest, Eterna Forest is an impressive maze. Wild Pokémon own it, no question about it. During the day, passage is relatively safe, if one sticks to a clearly-marked path; during the night, some of the local pranksters may come to pay a visit. Most humans will stay out of the forest at night.

An old city that shares its name with the nearby forest, Eterna is known for traditions passed down through generations.

[ ]The Wayward Cave
A cave located between the cities Eterna and Oreburgh, Wayward Cave is extremely dark. Humans stay out of it. Pokémon love it.

[ ]Hearthome City
A city in eastern Sinnoh, Hearthome is one of the more populous ones. There is much to do in the city, and humans and Pokémon wander it on a daily basis.

[ ]Hallowed Tower
Although it is still called "Hallowed Tower", there is no longer a tower, but the base of one. The rest has fallen apart. In the center of the tower is a stone block, with writing on it unreadable to most. A priest or priestess always waits inside it, to give guidance to those who seek it, and to make offerings to the legends. It is a common place to go in times of trouble.

A tower south of Solaceon where people come to mourn the dead. Humans and Pokémon are both laid to rest here, and there is always a truce between them.

[ ]Solaceon Town
A small town in eastern Sinnoh, Solaceon is the center and marketplace for large farms and ranches surrounding it.

[ ]Celestic Town
A small, quiet town by Mt. Coronet, Celestic Town is not particularly affected by life outside it. It has a peaceful aura, and humans and Pokémon live in peace.

A city built with an abundance of stone, Veilstone City is more known for a large marketplace than an aura of welcome.

A beautiful lake in eastern Sinnoh, Lake Valor is said to be sacred to the legendary Azelf.

A large area of marsh to the north and west of Pastoria, the marsh is home to many strange Pokémon.

A city built by wet marsh that was once sea and the current-day sea, Pastoria is well-known for its coolness, marshes, and general wetness.

A port city in western Sinnoh, Canalave is the best way to find ways to travel between Sinnoh and other regions.

A beautiful lake in northern Sinnoh, Lake Acuity is said to be sacred to the legendary Uxie.

A port town in eastern Sinnoh, Sunyshore is busy but does not compare to Canalave. It is small and cramped, but the locals still love it.

An island off the shore of western Sinnoh, Fullmoon Island is said to be sacred to the legendary Cresselia. There is also a statue of Arceus in her human form - Psychic.

An island off the western shore of Sinnoh, Newmoon Island is said to be sacred to the legendary Darkrai.

[ ]Realgam Tower
A fortress built in the heart of Orre, Realgam Tower is the traditional birthright to the ruler of Orre.

A city in the southeast, Phenac City is one of the most populous places in Orre. It is built by a couple of oases in the desert.

[ ]Pyrite Town
A rather dirty town in southwest Orre, Pyrite is built in a crimson canyon. Only the poorest, those with no place else to go, or those making money off of the rest stay.

A small village in northwest Orre, Agate was built by a river, along with a large amount of plants. It's a very peaceful place to live.

[ ]Gateon Port
A thriving market and port, Gateon is the only city in Orre located on the coast. It's the center of communications with other regions.

An underground cave in the desert, the cave has rarely been explored by any, human or Pokémon. There is also a statue of Arceus in her human form - Ground.

A mountain range in northern Fiore, it is called "the roof of Fiore". The Fiore Temple is located here.

The plains east of Ringtown, Kisara Plains are home to many rare species of Pokémon.

A small town in western Fiore, Ringtown is an idyllic place.

A cave in Fiore that goes between Ringtown and Fall City. Wild Pokémon love it.

A large city on the eastern coast of Fiore, Fall City is the center of Fiore in all but name.

The southern sea of Fiore between Fall City and Summerland, many Water Pokémon can be found in it.

A city on an island south of the mainland, Summerland is a peaceful place where people and Pokémon go to relax.

A jungle on the same island as Summerland, the Olive Jungle is hazardous. Pokémon love it.

[ ]Tanoby Chambers
The Tanoby Chambers are in the south of Seven Island, separated from the town by the Sevault Canyon. The leaders of the Sevii Islands are chosen here, though they do not live within them.
